Abstract

In the contemporary context of studying religious education in a secular society, the process such as individualization makes it harder for children to get the opportunity to learn from religion in an organized way. At school pupil can learn in an orderly and beneficial way from religion. However, we hardly know how they are making progression this subject and what the significance of their participation in this subject really is currently. This paper discussed Christian Religious Studies as a predictor of Social Cultural Heritages of Pupils in Primary Schools in Nigeria, the major objective was to examine the relationship between Christian Religion studies (CRS) and the level of morality among students, to investigate on Factors affecting the effective implementation and teaching of CRS in most schools in Most of the Nigerian society and to investigate on the effect of belief on the acceptance of Christian Religion studies in improving morality in most families in Nigeria among Others. there are moral decadence in the society, religion plays a prominent role in the society, religious education brings. Among others that, for religious education to bring about the desired moral development the curriculum had to be restructured to contain the necessary ingredients and the teacher should also exemplify the moral standards he teaches.
