CARDIOPULMONARY AND QUALITY OF LIFE RESPONSES OF INDIVIDUALS WITH TYPE 2 DIABETES TO THERAPEUTIC EXCERCISES ABSTRACT BACKGROUND: Diabetes mellitus’s cardiopulmonary consequences significantly increase the risk of morbidity, death, and lower quality of life in patients with type 2 diabetes (T2DM).  Treatment for these consequences must be multifaceted and focus on issues such as hyperglycemia, obesity, hypertension, and impaired lung function, among others, which have been demonstrated to be difficult for those with T2DM.  Therefore, it is crucial for people with diabetes to include an appropriate fitness regimen in their overall health care plan.  OBJECTIVE:  This study was made to look at how people with T2DM responded to therapeutic workouts in terms of their cardiopulmonary, biochemical, anthropometric, and quality of life.  The timing of the therapeutic benefits of exercise therapies was another goal of the study.  60 T2DM patients, both male and female, between the ages of 20 and 75, took part in the study. this research.  They were successively hired and then divided into two workout groups and a control group by random allocation.  The therapeutic exercise interventions for groups I and II were pre-existing exercise regimens, which included resistance exercises paired with aerobic activities on a treadmill and a bicycle ergometer, respectively, at escalating moderate intensities of 60%, 70%, and 80% of heart rate reserve.  The intervention period’s baseline, fourth, eighth, and twelfth weeks were used to collect the outcome measurement.  These included pulmonary parameters (oxygen uptake (VO2max), forced vital capacity (FVC), and forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1)), cardiovascular parameters (resting arterial systolic (RASBP) and diastolic blood pressure (RADBP), and resting rate pressure product (RRPP), and anthropometric parameters (body mass index). …
