Abstract:

Over the past few decades, rapid technological progress has brought about significant changes in various industries and transformed the nature of work. This study aims to explore the implications of these advancements on the labor market, including changes in employment patterns, skill requirements, and income inequality.

The introduction of new technologies, such as artificial intelligence, automation, and robotics, has led to increased productivity and efficiency in many sectors. While these advancements offer numerous benefits, they have also raised concerns about potential job displacement and the polarization of the labor market. This paper analyzes the mechanisms through which technology affects employment, including the substitution and augmentation effects, and investigates the industries most vulnerable to disruption.

Furthermore, this study examines the changing skill demands resulting from technological advancements.
