Abstract:
This study aims to investigate the influence of quality assurance measures on teachers’ job performance in public secondary schools in the Awka Education Zone of Anambra State. Quality assurance measures play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of education that meets the required standards. The study will explore the relationship between quality assurance measures, including teacher training and development, curriculum implementation, teaching resources, and assessment practices, and teachers’ job performance.
The research will adopt a quantitative research design, utilizing a questionnaire survey for data collection. A stratified random sampling technique will be employed to select a representative sample of teachers from various public secondary schools in the Awka Education Zone. The collected data will be analyzed using appropriate statistical tools, including descriptive statistics and regression analysis.
The findings of this study are expected to provide empirical evidence on the impact of quality assurance measures on teachers’ job performance. It is anticipated that the results will reveal whether quality assurance measures positively influence teachers’ job performance, leading to improved student outcomes. Additionally, the study aims to identify specific areas where quality assurance measures can be strengthened to enhance teaching and learning processes in public secondary schools.
The study’s implications are significant for educational policymakers, school administrators, and teachers in Anambra State and beyond. The findings can guide the development and implementation of effective quality assurance strategies to improve the overall quality of education in public secondary schools. By identifying areas that require attention, policymakers and school administrators can make informed decisions regarding resource allocation, teacher training, and curriculum development to enhance teachers’ job performance and ultimately improve student achievement.
In conclusion, this study will contribute to the existing body of knowledge by examining the influence of quality assurance measures on teachers’ job performance in public secondary schools. It is expected that the findings will provide valuable insights into the factors that contribute to effective teaching practices and help create a conducive learning environment for students.
