ABSTRACT

This research project aims to investigate the extent to which business subjects teachers in Abia State secondary schools utilize spreadsheet skills in teaching business subjects. The study seeks to assess the current level of spreadsheet skills utilization, examine the factors influencing their adoption, evaluate the impact on teaching effectiveness and student learning outcomes, and propose recommendations for enhancing the integration of spreadsheet skills in the teaching of business subjects.

A mixed-methods research design will be employed, incorporating surveys, classroom observations, and interviews. The research objectives include assessing the current level of spreadsheet skills utilization by business subjects teachers, examining the factors influencing their adoption, evaluating the impact on teaching effectiveness and student learning outcomes, and proposing recommendations for enhancing their integration.

The findings of this research project will contribute to the existing body of knowledge by providing insights into the utilization of spreadsheet skills by business subjects teachers in Abia State secondary schools.
