Abstract:
This abstract provides an overview of the correlation between girl-child education, creativity, self-reliance, and sustainable development in Abia State. The purpose of this study is to examine the importance of educating the girl-child and its impact on fostering creativity, self-reliance, and sustainable development in the region.

Education is a fundamental right and a key driver of individual and societal development. Despite significant progress made in recent years, gender disparities in education persist, particularly in developing regions like Abia State. This study focuses on the girl-child, as investing in their education has far-reaching implications for personal growth, social progress, and economic development.

The study will employ a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative research methods. Data will be collected through surveys, interviews, and focus group discussions involving key stakeholders, such as educators, parents, and community leaders. The sample size will be determined through a stratified random sampling technique.

The research aims to explore the relationship between girl-child education and creativity. Education provides girls with the necessary knowledge, skills, and opportunities to enhance their creative potential and contribute meaningfully to society. By enabling them to develop critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and innovation skills, education empowers girls to become agents of positive change and self-reliance.

Furthermore, the study will investigate the link between girl-child education, self-reliance, and sustainable development. Education equips girls with the tools to overcome socio-economic challenges, break gender stereotypes, and pursue diverse careers. Educated girls are more likely to engage in income-generating activities, contribute to household income, and make informed decisions regarding their health, well-being, and family planning. This, in turn, fosters sustainable development at the individual, community, and national levels.

The findings of this research will contribute to the existing body of knowledge on girl-child education and its impact on creativity, self-reliance, and sustainable development. The study’s recommendations will inform policymakers, educators, and community leaders on the importance of prioritizing and investing in girl-child education initiatives. Ultimately, it is hoped that this research will promote gender equality, social empowerment, and inclusive development in Abia State and beyond.
