Abstract:
Entrepreneurship education has gained significant attention as a means to foster entrepreneurial skills and mindset among students. This study aims to investigate the impact of entrepreneurship education on the entrepreneurial development of students in the College of Education Billiri, Gombe State. The study adopts a quantitative research design, utilizing a structured questionnaire to collect data from a sample of students enrolled in entrepreneurship education programs.
The study focuses on assessing the influence of entrepreneurship education on various dimensions of entrepreneurial development, including knowledge acquisition, skills development, attitude formation, and intention to start a business. Additionally, the study explores the students’ perceptions of the effectiveness of entrepreneurship education in preparing them for entrepreneurial endeavors.
The findings of this study will contribute to the existing body of knowledge on entrepreneurship education’s impact on students’ entrepreneurial development, specifically in the context of College of Education Billiri, Gombe State. The results will provide insights into the effectiveness of the current entrepreneurship education programs and identify areas that require improvement.
The research findings are expected to have practical implications for educators, policymakers, and stakeholders in entrepreneurship education. The study may assist in designing and implementing more effective entrepreneurship education curricula, teaching methods, and support systems to enhance students’ entrepreneurial skills and promote a culture of entrepreneurship.
The research methodology includes administering the questionnaire to a representative sample of students, conducting statistical analysis to examine the relationships between entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial development dimensions, and interpreting the results to draw meaningful conclusions.
In conclusion, this study seeks to contribute to the understanding of the impact of entrepreneurship education on students’ entrepreneurial development in the College of Education Billiri, Gombe State. By exploring the effectiveness of entrepreneurship education programs, this research aims to provide valuable insights and recommendations for the improvement of entrepreneurship education initiatives, ultimately fostering an entrepreneurial mindset and preparing students for successful entrepreneurial ventures.
