Corruption poses significant challenges to the management of tertiary education institutions in Nigeria. Corruption in Nigerian tertiary education institutions is a pervasive and complex issue. It manifests in various forms such as bribery, embezzlement, nepotism, favoritism, and examination malpractice. These corrupt practices undermine the integrity, transparency, and accountability of the educational system, eroding public trust and compromising the quality of education provided.

The challenges posed by corrupt practices to the management of tertiary education institutions in Nigeria are multi-faceted.
