EVALUATING INSTRUCTIONAL FACILITIES IN THE TEACHING AND LEARNING OF BUSINESS EDUCATION COURSES IN NIGERIA

ABSTRACT

This research project aims to evaluate the instructional facilities used in the teaching and learning of business education courses in Nigeria. Adequate and modern instructional facilities are crucial for effective teaching and learning experiences in business education. This study seeks to assess the availability, quality, and utilization of instructional facilities in business education classrooms, identify areas that require improvement, and propose recommendations for enhancing the teaching and learning environment.

A mixed-methods research design will be employed, combining surveys, classroom observations, and interviews to collect data from business education instructors and students across multiple educational institutions in Nigeria. The research objectives include evaluating the availability and quality of instructional facilities, such as computer laboratories, projectors, internet connectivity, and specialized software, as well as assessing their utilization and impact on teaching and learning outcomes. The study will also investigate the challenges faced in the provision and maintenance of instructional facilities and gather recommendations from stakeholders for improving their availability and effectiveness.

The findings of this research project will contribute to the existing body of knowledge by providing insights into the state of instructional facilities in the teaching and learning of business education courses in Nigeria. The research will evaluate the availability and quality of instructional facilities, including their functionality, accessibility, and suitability for business education requirements.
