The management of teaching and learning in the primary education sector plays a crucial role in achieving excellence in education. In Nigeria, the primary education sector faces numerous challenges that hinder effective teaching and learning processes. This abstract aims to highlight the challenges encountered in managing teaching and learning in primary education in Nigeria and propose potential solutions to overcome these obstacles.
The challenges in managing teaching and learning in the primary education sector in Nigeria are multifaceted. Firstly, inadequate infrastructure and learning resources pose significant challenges. Many primary schools lack basic amenities such as classrooms, libraries, laboratories, and teaching materials, which impede the delivery of quality education.
