ABSTRACT

This research project aims to examine the relationship between digital resources development and self-employability skills among business education students in tertiary institutions in Delta State. In today’s digital age, technological advancements have transformed various aspects of society, including the business landscape. It is essential for business education students to develop digital skills and utilize digital resources to enhance their self-employability and entrepreneurial capabilities. This study seeks to explore the impact of digital resources development on the self-employability skills of business education students in tertiary institutions in Delta State.

A mixed-methods research design will be employed, integrating surveys, interviews, and data analysis to collect data from business education students, faculty members, and industry professionals. The research objectives include assessing the availability and utilization of digital resources in business education programs, examining the relationship between digital resources development and self-employability skills, and identifying the challenges and opportunities associated with integrating digital resources into business education.

The findings of this research project will contribute to the existing body of knowledge by providing insights into the relationship between digital resources development and self-employability skills among business education students. The research will assess the availability and utilization of digital resources, such as online learning platforms, educational software, business simulation tools, and digital libraries, within business education programs in tertiary institutions. It will examine the impact of digital resources development on self-employability skills, including digital literacy, technological competence, creativity, innovation, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial mindset. Furthermore, the study will identify the challenges and opportunities associated with integrating digital resources into business education, such as infrastructure limitations, faculty training, and industry collaboration.
