ABSTRACT
This research project aims to evaluate the instructional delivery of business education programs in tertiary institutions for skills acquisition in the digital era. The rapid advancement of technology has significantly impacted the way businesses operate, requiring individuals to possess a diverse set of digital skills. It is essential for business education programs to adapt their instructional approaches to effectively equip students with the relevant skills needed in the digital age. This study seeks to assess the instructional delivery methods employed in business education programs and evaluate their effectiveness in facilitating skills acquisition.
A mixed-methods research design will be employed, incorporating surveys, interviews, and classroom observations to collect data from business education students, faculty members, and industry professionals. The research objectives include evaluating the current instructional delivery methods utilized in business education programs, assessing the integration of digital tools and technologies in teaching and learning, and examining the effectiveness of these methods in facilitating skills acquisition.
The findings of this research project will contribute to the existing body of knowledge by providing insights into the instructional delivery of business education programs for skills acquisition in the digital era. The research will evaluate the current instructional delivery methods employed, such as lectures, case studies, group projects, experiential learning, and online platforms.
